Educational Teambuilding and Adventure Education Programs

Scholastic education starts in the classroom. The classroom is the cornerstone of where children pick up their academic learning.

Education goes much deeper than the 3 R’s. In today’s world kids are being bombarded with so much information and much of it will not help them later in life.

However, as they grow and mature and enter the working and professional world, there are skills they will need that are not always taught in the classroom:

  • Learning to communicate clearly and succinctly
  • Working in team environments where success is dependent on the team’s results
  • Establishing confidence in uncertain situations
  • Learning to set goals and stay focused in order to achieve those goals
  • Having the ability to generate creative solutions to problems
  • Establishing natural leaders in unfamiliar surroundings

“…thanks again for bringing out such an awesome program, I wish I had a million dollars to keep you around all year long.  Craig, you and your staff are truly a class act and the students are really lucky to have experienced your program, Thanks.” Coach Stewart, HISD

Our various Programs create a unique learning environment and give kids in lower school through high school the opportunity to learn in an unusual setting. Getting kids out of their comfort zone heightens their sense of focus. When one is focused, learning is more intense. Experiential learning will leave lasting impressions and serve as a valuable teaching time.

“Today was a wonderful experience that the students at (school) will never forget. They are still talking about it today. I appreciate your enthusiasm, patience and professionalism with our staff and students. They had a wonderful time. Thanks.” A. White, HISD

Learning to work TOGETHER as a team is important for kids as they are ‘spreading their wings’ and think they can do everything themselves. This goes for adults as well.

School classes, organizations and teams can utilize the Mobile Ropes Teambuilding to bring them together prior to their season or activities. Having a unique experience and sharing that with others will draw all the participants closer together.

We had a great time. The team enjoyed themselves and were proud of their work with you. We all agreed that the tennis ball activity really captured what we want to express about our success and our goals for this year. I look forward to seeing you soon!” S. Robertson, Principal, Cinco Ranch Jr. High, KISD

Adventure Education Program
We have developed a high impact curriculum for schools that includes various interactive learning activities while reinforcing academics. This offers schools the opportunity to provide a learning experience for students that is age appropriate, yet similar to what corporations provide their employees.

Best of all – WE COME TO YOUR SCHOOL!

“Thank you so much for your teambuilding course.  We have several goals for our football season and one is to become unified as a team.  Because of your program we are on our way in achieving that goal.  Thank you so much.” J. Guthrie, Head Football Coach, Second Baptist School

This is great for grade levels – to help the kids get to know others by going through the day in teams, great for incoming students to new schools, great for teams, clubs and as an incentive for attendance, conduct, grades or fundraising.

Some of our activities include:

  • GPS (Global Positioning Systems) technology, which works on Geography, History and Science
  • Teamwork, Critical Thinking and Communication applications on our Team Challenges
  • Communication, Leadership and Teamwork while ‘Building Mansions’

Our Adventure Education Program comes complete with our facilitators for all activities or we will train your staff. Our facilitators work with school staff to insure the students get the most dynamic program possible.

Once we come out to your school, you will want all your students to experience this unique day of interactive learning.

What About Faculty and Staff?
Each school year every school has new teachers and staff and every district has new administrators. These ‘teams’ need to function well together. A morning or afternoon experiencing the Mobile Ropes Teambuilding is a great way to get everyone working together and communicating in preparation for a successful year or to maintain morale and open communication throughout the year.

“It was great to see our group work as a team to accomplish the tasks because it gave us an opportunity to encourage one another in a way that we don’t normally get to do.  I will use this with my leadership classes to help them build self-confidence and the team building skills we’ve been working on all year!” P. Whitten, Beckendorff JH, KISD

When you are attached to a partner who is blindfolded and you are not allowed to speak and together you have to achieve a stated goal, there is going to be some creative thinking, enhanced communication and problem solving to be successful. After experiences like that, the participants will have an interesting experience to share and draw upon in the future as they work together.

“Thank you again for a great start to the new school year. The day provided a fun and challenging opportunity to engage and interact with colleagues and administration and demonstrated how well teams can work together in building, planning, and collaborating. This was an interesting analytical experience for group dynamics which provided a fun way to start the year at a time anxieties are high. Thank you again for a fabulous time!” M. Cuellar, Alief M.S., AISD

We can provide our full program for your staff and faculty or we can modify a program that fits your needs and time frame. Either way, we provide a unique and memorable experience for everyone.

Having Mobile Ropes Teambuilding out to your Staff In-Service day will inject fun, life and laughs in a memorable experience. By the way, it may just help break down some silos that we all tend to build around ourselves.
